PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Special Election will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025, for the County of Poweshiek, Iowa, Rural Improvement Zone permanent residents of Holiday Lake only.

Polls will open at 12:00 o’clock p.m. (Noon) and close at 8:00 o’clock p.m.

Polling place is as follows:

*Holiday Lake – Community Center, 6A Lakeshore Dr, Brooklyn, IA

Absentee Ballots are available from the Poweshiek County Auditor, Melissa Eilander beginning on July 16, 2025 for the Special Rural Improvement Zone Election to be held on August 5, 2025 for permanent residents of Holiday Lake.

Auditor's Office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for voting absentee prior to Election Day.
