Satellite Voting in Poweshiek County

NEWS RELEASE RE:  Satellite Voting in Poweshiek County

Melissa Eilander, Poweshiek County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections, today announced that a satellite absentee voting station will be provided for Poweshiek County voters who wish to vote by absentee ballot for the June 7, 2022 - Primary Election. 

The satellite voting station will be May 18, 2022 at Drake Library, Community Room, 930 Park St, Grinnell and is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Ballots for all voters in Poweshiek County will be available as well as voter registration forms for those who need to register to vote or change name and/or address.

Voter’s will be required to provide valid identification.  Valid identification is one of the following:

Absentee voters may also vote in person starting May 18, 2022, at the County Auditor’s office in Montezuma up until Election Day. Courthouse hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
