Satellite Voting - General Election 2022

NEWS RELEASE RE:  Satellite Voting in Poweshiek County

Melissa Eilander, Poweshiek County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections, today announced there will be two satellite absentee voting stations provided for Poweshiek County voters who wish to vote by absentee ballot for the November 8, 2022 – General Election. 

The following are the scheduled satellit voting locations & times:

Ballots for all voters in Poweshiek County will be available, as well as voter registration forms for those who need to register to vote or change name and/or address.

Voter’s will be required to provide valid identification.  Valid identification is one of the following:

If a voter is not registered, voter will need to follow Election Day Registration guidelines, providing both proof of identity and proof of residency.

Absentee voters may also vote in person at the County Auditor’s office in Montezuma starting October 19 through November 7. Courthouse hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Additional hours for absentee voting at the County Auditor’s office in Montezuma on Saturday, November 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
